Growing up in the breathtaking Flathead Valley, I have been surrounded by endless amounts of inspiration throughout my life. My love of nature and art began at a very young age and has only grown throughout the years.

After completing high school in Bigfork, Montana, I went on to attend California State University Sacramento where I received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. I have since returned to the Flathead Valley where I am continuously moved and inspired by my environment and I strive to emulate these feelings in my work. Directly after college I went to work as an Art Director for the Somers/Lakeside Boys and Girls Club, a job I truly loved. However, this past July 2007 my dreams were made a reality when I opened my own studio, Local Color, a successful art studio/gallery in downtown Bigfork.

Local Color features not only works by me, but also a number of other up and coming local artists working in various mediums. In addition to my gallery, my artwork can also be found at the Bigfork Art and Cultural Center, The Hockaday Art Museum and other various restaurants and retail locations throughout the state.  Although I am very busy with running the gallery to continue working full time with the Boys and Girls Club, I still make time once a week for the art club. My intent as an artist is to cultivate an appreciation for everything surrounding us. Nature is an always changing and evolving source of inspiration for me and my paintings give the audience a glimpse into the way I see the world.

Please Enjoy!
